DETERMINING OF THE SELECTION OF THE BANK LOCATION THROUGH ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS AND ELECTRE METHODS: THE CASE OF THE TOWNS UŞAK

It has been nearly compulsory for service sectors to be consumer-oriented sectors in our country that is developing rapidly. Companies that use a large portion of opportunities for the satisfaction of consumers will increase the masses of customers compared to its competitors and thus will also ensure its own continuity. Banks providing services to individual and institutions are the sectors which steadily increase the importance of the service sectors today. Banks try many kind of strategies in order to improve their performances. One of the strategies of banks is also to open new branches. Opening new branches requires a certain level of preliminary work. Because of being many options and their strategies of banks determining the choice of place of establishment sets of a complex problem. In this study, in order to facilitate the selection of the bank location, Analytic Hierarchy Process Method and Electre Method were used within Multi-Criteria Decision Making methods for decision-makers to make a healthy choice.
