Abstract :
Hope, people may experience negative experiences to deal with the feeling that because it gives mental health a positive impact on the University of the profession willingly election and finding a job is highly probable that the expectations and hopes and spirits on health is of great importance. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a difference among the level of hopelessness of students studying at nursing and midwifery departments, and whether the profession they have chosen has any impact on their level of hope. In this study, the Beck Hopelessness Scale (BHS) consisting of three subscales, feelings about the future, loss of motivation and expectations about the future has been used and interviews have been conducted with the students in this regard. In the evaluation of the data, descriptive statistics and scale scores / sub-dimension scores, the t test was used in independent samples to compare differences between the departments. Hopelessness, in terms of nursing and midwifery students of a significant difference between absence results in the university education they received as a result be hopeful mental health understand the importance to have the power of positive thinking which increases the learning experience as a result of optimism seen the importance of having and the contribution levels of hope in this topic thoughts they are the profession, future employment probability thought to be explained by the high.
