Abstract :
Based on the survey in this study has been targeted to what degree to effects of awarding on the performance of the employee which based on sample group by small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) at Beyoğlu province in Istanbul, European Side. There is no research about rewarding, the importance of motivation by employees and managers, accordingly based on the evaluation of performance and the effects of these issues on employees in the literature. For this purpose, consisting of 37 questions which are used a 7 point Likert scale questionnaire was prepared to view the subject of the study determined the effect on the employee motivation. Personal information in the first part of the survey, the importance of reward and motivation on employees in the second part of it, and employee performance in the third part of it are prepared for questionnaire. The questionnaire has been applied on 200 employees who work in various SMEs. In this study, the data obtained from the questionnaire was interpreted through SPSS, a statistical software program. With findings according to the results in line, individual motivation impacting performance, and organizational motivation impacting wages positively, has been determined. Results of the study are discussed and recommendations not only managers but also employees who have been made.
