The novel Billûr Kalp, which was written 1924 by Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar and was printed 1926, is concerned with problems which seen our society after World War I. And the root of some of them was extended Tanzimat. These are related to concept safter-war period poverty, unemployment, minorities, mentality transformation, imitation of European ways, education, particularly female. Billûr Kalp novel is important to give the social panorama about after-war period.In Billûr Kalp novel, it is captured economic crisis at war period while author’s tendency which minorities are outsider is overbearing and it is criticised new debauched war haves. It is brought to attention the daily routine and place changes in a grotesque manne rwith various dimensions. It is noticed that Hüseyin Rahmi discussed West withlove-hatred context and flayed autocracy period. Tragic exploit of Turkish women which were forced to be in public sphere with author’s morality position is reflected readers. Education of that period was degenerated like the other institutions and values. It is depicted the people Europe anstyle was superficially misperceived the modernization.
