OPINIONS CONCERNING ACADEMICIANS INVESTIGATION/ QUERY ASSIGNMENT DIFFICULTIES
Abstract :
In this study which is aimed to determine the opinions concerning the academicians investigation/query assignment difficulties, used case study from the qualitative research designs. The workgroup of the study has been determined with the maximum diversification technique from the purposeful sampling methods. Participants are the 12 academicians from 5 different faculties of Atatürk University who has performed at least one investigation/query assignment. The data of the study has been subjected to content analyze that was obtained with semi-structured interview form. According to the study findings; academicians have a great deal of difficulties with the investigation/query assignment during the beginning and the continuum stages. Academicians feel under great pressure while accomplishing this assignment. Also, academicians indicate that this study makes them hinder their main assignments by emphasising that the investigation/query assignment requires expertness.
