THE FUTURE ANXIETY OF THE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to investigate the future anxiety of the senior studentsfrom the faculties and colleges of Ahi Evran University in terms of some sociodemographic variants. The population of the study consists of 2489 senior students from the faculties and colleges of Ahi Evran University in 2013-2014 Educational Year Spring Term. In research Personal Information Form developed by the researcher, Trait Anxiety Inventory developed by Spielberger and Gorsuch (1964) were used. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, t-test, variance analyze and Bonferroni test.There weren’t differences between the trait anxiety levels of the students in terms of university entrance year and weighted grade point average variants. There were differences between the trait anxiety levels of the students in terms of gender, faculty/college, parent attitude, average monthly income and accommodation variants.
