Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to determine the releation ship between value tendencies and autonomy levels of high school students by using Relational Survey Model. The study take a population of students who have been studying at the 9thand 12thgrades of Anatolian High Schools and Vocational High Schools of Kayseri during 2012-2013 academic year. The research was conducted on the sample of 431 students from this population,.The data was collected byusing Adolescent Autonomy Scale and Portrait Values Scale performed on them. As a result Universalism and self tendencies value samong these students are put higher emphasis than conventionalism-obedience and power values. In addition, Besides distinctness of gender ,school type, class level, education level of the mother and fahter were effected their value tendencies; but they did not differaccording to family in come level. Nevertheless, it is foundout that there was a positive meaning ful relationship between Kindness, Conventionalism Obedience, Security value on the one hand; and Behaviouraland Emotional Autonomy of the students on the other. Furthermore, it is also revealed Power, Success, Stimulation, Self-tendency and Universalism had a positive meaningful relationship with Behavioural autonomy, but there was no relationship between these values and Emotional autonomy
