Abstract :
The aim of this study is to evaluate the Information Technologies and Software Course’s Curriculum according to the teacher’s ideas. The data of the research are gathered by the questionnaire and interview form. In order to obtain theteachers’ ideas the questionnaire including 37 questions has been administered to 118 teacher in the Aegean Region of Turkey, and interviews with 15 information Technologies teachers in Aydın, İzmir, Muğla and Denizli were conducted. When analyzing the data, the frequency and percentage of answers have been given in the tables. According to the results of the research, the teachers generally gave negative feedbacks about the “Information Technologies and Software Course Curriculum”. The teachers think that they need guidance books and the students need exercise books that haven’t been prepared yet. The teachersalsofocused on thesubjectthatallschoolsmusthaveappropriate Information Technologies classroomsand Information Technologies and Software Course itself as a mandatorylesson, itsCurriculummusthave a clearcontentandthelearningdifferenceshould be at the minimum level.
