Abstract
The study aims to determine the impact of creative drama method on gaining environmental literacy. In data collection part of the study mixed research method which uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative was used. For the quantitative part one group pre test-post test design was preferred while for the qualitative part it was studied having the students opinions about creative drama. In the part of quantitative data collection Students Environmentally Responsible Behaviours -26 items- and Students Affective Dispositions towards the Environment -four point Likert type 14 items- scales was used which are developed by Erdoğan (2009). In the research qualitative data was collected using Environmental Literacy Scale and Students Opinions About Using Creative Drama and interviews. Data analysis has shown that while environmental literacy sessions didn t affect students dispositions towards the environment, it had also positive effects on their sense of responsibility.
