Abstract :
The aim of this study is to determine what kind of mistakes in the texts they havecreated in the native language of Turkish children living in Belgium. In this study in which descriptive scanning model was used. The data of this study were obtained by using document analysis and descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data of the study. The study group of this research consists of 198 Turkish student age ranging between 11-15 and living in Anvers, Gent, Genk, Brussel in Belgium and also taking Turkish Language and Turkish Culture Lesson selected via randomic method. According to the findings in the study, it has been determined that word and notion transfer between languages (from Flemish to Turkish and from French to Turkish), errors and mistakes in punctuation, consonance mistakes, incoherency, transmitting of speech to written expressions are errors frequently encountered in students written expression. The most remarkable errors in the errors detected followings: due to differences in the alphabet the incorrect writing letters of ö o / z s / ı i / c s / ş s / d t / ü u / ğ y / ç c / ç t / s ç / ğ g / s ç / y j / ç c / v w / g ğ / c g / s z / é; the incorrect use of period, comma, apostrophe, not the attention to vowel harmony; the incorrect use of capitalization.
