THE EFFECT OF DIFFERENT LIFE EXPERIENCES -CAMP LIFE AND THE HIGH AND LOW ROPE TRACKS ACTIVITIES - ON THE PERCEPTION OF SELF-EFFICACY
Abstract :
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of different life experiences -camp life and the high and low rope tracks activities -on the perception of self-efficacy.86 volunteers participated in the study. The average age of participants was 21.31 ± 1.39 years. This study was done as pretest-posttest control group with quasi-experimental model and the data were collected using Self-Effectiveness-Efficacy Scale. It was determined that the camp activity and the content of it had no significant effect on the independent variable of gender (p 0.05), but had a significant positive effect on the participants self-efficacy perceptions (p 0.05). As a result, it could be said that the whole camp life and activities created with rope trails have positive impact on perceptions of the participants’ self-efficacy.
