Abstract :
The Ethernet technology is the most widely used Local Area Network (LAN) technology today. Some of its reasons are; its being reliable, easy implementation of new technologies, easy care, and the low cost of installation and updating . Metro Ethernet technology was born with the idea of the implementation of Ethernet technology used in LANs to the entire city. It provides connection with Telecom network technology through the very high bandwidth fiber optic cables, in a local network without the need for any device such as router or modem.
