Abstract :
Since the plant diversity is very rich and handicrafts are so common in our country, natural dyes have produced for centuries. In recent years, with the increase in the importance of eco-textiles and environmental protection, the studies on natural dyes have increased. In natural dyeings, it was observed that some herbs had antibacterial effects. This review is focused particularly on the antibacterial effects and activity of some herbs and used test methods.
