Evaluation of Textile Waste Pyrolysis
Abstract :
Turkey s textile and garment industry, the country s export share of 30%, which is the leading sector of the economy. This sector is one of the most important issues is the problem of waste. In our country, a total of 28.4 million tons of waste per day is 68,000 tons per year and 4.8% of the waste is determined to be in the textile waste. In textile industry, dyeing and processing that occur during erroneous transactions arising from fiber and fabric waste, cutting and molding operations remaining after garment waste, or other specialized materials consisting of waste textile sector solid waste constituted. Also of use, consists of various solid wastes during production and storage. In this study, acrylic, cotton and wool fibers are subjected to a pyrolysis process of wastes and solid products resulting from these processes are evaluated. Made of cotton fiber during pyrolysis of the solid product is not formed, acrylic and wool has been observed that the formation of solid waste.
