Title Of Article :
Investigation of Usage of Waste Autoclaved Aerated Concrete in Polymer Concrete
Abstract :
The use of polymer is on the increase with each passing day in diverse applications on the construction and building industry. While there exist numerous methods for use in the industry of polymer, the most important use of polymers is polymer concretes due to high strength and durability properties. This study aims at achieving a better understanding of waste autoclaved aerated concrete (WAAC) and sand (standard CEN sand “SCS”) used as phase material polymer concrete and exploring its potential properties. The main objective is to assess the impact of parameters such as amount and type of phase material on mechanical and physical properties as experimental. The polymer concrete specimens were made using two different resin types and three different ratios of phase materials. Polymer concretes with WAAC had lower unit weight and mechanical properties than SCS and phase material without. However, still allows these mixtures to be used many products of in structural industry. Polymer concretes with SCS, while its unit weight had raised depending amount of phase materials, the mechanical properties had raised for specific amounts of phase materials.
