EQUIPMENT PLACEMENT DETERMINATION APPLICATIONS FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF NOISE CONTROL
Abstract :
The noise made by the quipments in the production plant, is a serious problem for the employees working in the area. There are some methods to decrease the noise level, control it and prevent it from being harmfull for the employees. The most efficient methods are the engineering ones which takes noise under control in the source. The most important application of these engineering methods is determining the right position for these equipments in the production plant. In case that the positions of equipments are not determined well at the beginning, changing the positions will be an extra cost afterwards. Therefore, main goal should be determining right position at the beginning at once. In this study, we will be discussing the efficiency of the methods with determining the amount of decrease of the noise level by placing a new press, to the right place in a production plant where noise is harmfull for emplyees.
