Title Of Article :
EVALUATION OF SEWAGE SLUDGE ON AGRICULTURAL LANDS
Abstract :
This research was carried out to determine the effects of sewage sludge applied into soil for some properties of soil and yield to crop rotation system of wheat+ sugar beet + corn. This study was desinged seven treatments and tree replications as fixed. Topics of application were A=no treatment , B= optimum chemical fertilizer, C= 1000 kg/da sewage sludge, D= 2000 kg/da sewage sludge , E= 3000 kg/da sewage sludge, F= 4000 kg /da sewage sludge and G=5000 kg/da sewage sludge. Soil samples were received before sowing and after harvest from each replications. Soil samples were analyzed for productity and potantial toxic metals. As a result of analysis, potantial toxic metals increased depend on amount of sewage sludge. However, potantial toxic metals did not exceed the limits at control legistlation of soil pollution. Statistical analysis of yield to rotations plants show that topic of B and D, E, F are the same. Potantial pullutions of sewage sludge are taken into consideration 2000 kg/da sewage sludge could be suggested for application. Application of sewage sludge to agricultural lands have contributed to organic matter of soil. On the other hand, polluttant of sewage sludge should be taken into consideration for application to soil. For this reason, using sewage sludge into agricultural lands must be done with very strict controls. Soil buffering is not unlimited.
