BASE OIL PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE RECYCLING OF WASTE MINERAL OIL
شماره ركورد :

Abstract :
Waste mineral oils have been taken under control with „‟Regulation on Control of Waste Oil‟‟ which has been issued in 2004. Accordingly; they are collected systematically, recycled either by incinerating in cement/lime factories or by converting into different products or disposed of by incinerating in IZAYDAS. Research has shown that refining waste oil into base oils is more advantageous as compared to incineration or conversion into other products. However, as of 2011, there is no base oil recycling company that has obtained a base oil production license; and base oil production technologies does not very well known by companies operating in the sector. Consequently it is important to increase the contribution of the waste oil to the country economy by integrating the base oil production technologies which are successfully implemented in the world. In fact, waste mineral oils which have been defined as hazardous waste can be converted into base oils in accordance with legal regulations. In this study, literature sources of these recycling processes with different treatment combinations were compiled.
