A Case of Multiple Pathology with Meningoencephalocele

Abstract
Meningoencephalocele is described as a protrusion of the cranial contents beyond the normal confines of the skull because of a defect in the calvarium. A 6-days male new-born is presented with the complaint of swelling of the right maxillary region. Computed tomography imaging of the cranium revealed the meningoencephalocele in the right temporial region. Also there is a pathology which suggestive of dysgenesis of corpus callosum. The abnormal-ity of our case is quite rare in the literature. The distinction of meningoencephalocele and other congenital brain le-sions has great importance due to all differences in their treatment and prognosis.
