Abstract
PRES syndrome, associated with the preeclampsia, eclampsia and HELLP syndrome can be seen in obstetric clinics and intensive care units and characterized by cerebral edema especially in the parietal and occipital regions and with proper treatment can often be a temporary condition. In etiology, hypertension, cytotoxic drugs, preeclampsia and eclampsia, systemic diseases such as sepsis can take place. Syndrome may occur with different neurological findings such as headache, visual symptoms, and seizures. With the reported cases we aimed that, with early diagnosis, the syndrome can be reversible and despite the serious treatment it may be fatal and multidisciplinary approach is required.
