Artificial Lakes of Nigde with Their Functions and Ecologic Problems

Natural resources of our country is getting more and more dirty. The amount of water which needs to be consumed is increasing as time passes so artificid sets are built to the front of available water resources. Different aims such as drinking, watering are made good use of this lake. These artificial lakes which are built around the city cause same ecological problems because of causes of human. The most important ecological problem of neighbourhood of Nigde is pollution of water. This pollution is formed with the waste of water. This pollution is formed with the waste of sewel systemy and this pollution threats the species such as fauna and flora and agricultural plants in the surroundings of lake. In the zone of working five dams, six small lakes and thirty foundatlans of flood. The dams concerning with our subjects are formed with the aim of watering, but alternative functions are not realised, so they are not evaluate adequately. In this research, the ecologic problems of the dams built in the neighbourhood is determined and so reducing the problems of artificial lakes and increasing the function are studied.
