Abstract
Thomas Bernhard is one of the authors whose writings’ reading and analysis are the most difficult one. There are lots of mental distresses and they are transformed into internal contraction in his writings. This is the most difficult side of his writings. The author, who separate his writing style from other authors with him long monologues, abnormal events, absurd plot, extraordinary heroes, curse, satire and harsh criticism, describes the psychological background and the results of anguish of the people of his era facing the insolvable problems in his work named Ereignisse (Events). In this study, we explained the anguish plot of the author’s narration by profiting from the text analysis and autobiographical approaches. The aim of this study is to make solutions to the reason of the people’s anguish as a problem of age by approaching focused on reader from the texts.
