Domestic Violence: An Analysis of Puplic Policy

“Domestic violence” and “violence to women” is one of the popular subjects of controversy among the people. Every kind of violence either to family members or to women is regarded as a common social problem in all circles. The study aimed at analyzing the public policy about the domestic violence through the data obtained from the field research. The study was enriched with secondary data as well as the literature review on the issue. At the end of the study, those taking an active part in the process of forming public policy were also offered certain suggestions.
