Abstract
The transference of values, which have an important place in people’s lives, to the next generation and transmitting of the message to the right way are quite important. There are many ways to evaluate each literary texts which bears the characteristics of a letter from past to future. An analysis of the kind of the words which constitutes the text and trying to understand it is one of them. One of those kinds of structure is adjectives. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the adjectives in the direction of the semantics of Atatürk’s Address to the Turkish Youth which is a historical and literary document and also assists to the next generation’s reading and understanding of the message truly which is given by Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. In the consequence of the analysis of the text, it is concluded that the analysis of the adjectives of the Address to the Turkish youth provides a different point of view with true understanding of the text when it is read.
