Abstract
This article aims to express the contemporary literary genre, short short story, also known as micro fiction or flash fiction, draws attention to what is hidden rather than what is visible. This literary analysis highlights that various meaningfulness is acquired when short short stories are handled in respect to readers’ different critical evaluations. As short short stories attain new meanings in different interpretations because of having implicit and open-ended structures, they should be considered in terms of deconstructive analysis and the perceptional aesthetics reflecting reading public’s mood towards the text. This article focuses on Ernest Hemingway’s short short story, “For Sale: Baby Shoes, Never Worn” in terms of various meaningfulness that implies what is hidden rather than what is seen.
