Organizational and Managerial Success Factors in E-Government Project Management: A Case Study of PolNet

Abstract
There are a number of problems in front of the e-Government initiatives set forth to provide more convenient access to public services. These problems are classified under five headings. To achieve the success of e-Government project initiatives, five main success factors are proposed in parallel with main problems stated in the literature. In this study, “organizational and managerial factors” group, which is the most important group of the five success factors, is examined by being divided into nine items. In the study, e-Government projects from different countries are examined for each item of organizational and managerial factors that play a role in e-Government projects. After one major e-Government project from Turkey is assessed, the study is completed with the conclusion part.
