Abstract
The geography education, which has been renewed and based on the constructivism approach since 2005, has still many important questions. The main problem in the geograhpy education hugely stems from the curriculum as educational approaches match up with the modern ones. Geography curriculum in high schools is full of knowledge that can’t be put into practise. The content of the curriculum consequently affects the class activities, assessment and evaluation works in the geograhy textbooks with which every unite end. They are the very reasons of failing a proper geography education. In the modern description of geography there are only human and space and their interactions and the knowledge without human-space interactions is beyond the scope of the geography and geography teaching, so geograhy education should be based on the human-space interactions and in order to do so firstly a fundemental change must be done in the geography curriculum, then this change could be followed by the ones in activities and assessment and evaluations works in the textbooks. In the modern science Geology, Soil Science and Hydrology each became an independent field, that’s way the parts of these mentioned sciences in geography must be taken out considering the current geography and geography education undertanding and approaches and in doing so geography can more accurately find its own way.
