Abstract
Semantic feature analysis is an effective for demonsrating relationshipsamong consepts with in category. It can be used with individuals or with groups of students using expository or narrative text. In this research semantic feature analysis is used as an evaluation tool.The research’s method is planned as case study and sample of research is composed by 60 teacher candidates that have attended in Social Studies department in Marmara University. Data’s of research are obtained with semantic feature analyses and semi-structure interview form that prepare by researcher. It is analysed datas that is obtained by descriptive analysis.To social studies teacher candidates are asked both classical questions and semantic feature analysis based questions in philosophy exam. Findings are analysed by categorize in the way of analysis, synthesis, classification and comparison.
