Abstract
In this study, the thermal performance of the wall sections used in Expanded Polystyrene Foam (EPS) Insulating Concrete Form (EPS ICF) Wall System which is recently introduced in Türkiye and widely used over the world because of the shorten construction duration, easy construction, reduction of the formwork and labor costs, providing continuous and completely insulation advantages, is examined. The scope of study, EPS ICF Wall System is briefly introduced and winter and summer comfort concepts are summarized. The thermal performance of the wall sections used in EPS ICF Wall System and the conventional construction systems (external insulation system, internal insulation system, cavity wall system) are calculated and compared for winter and summer comfort. As a result of the calculations made related to EPS ICF Wall System, it is found that the system provides the winter and summer comfort according to existing standards.
