Abstract
Fiscal transparency in recent years, both at national and international studies have become ever more important issue. In this context, the aim of the study is to analyze the relationship between fiscal transparency and basiz economic variables. In the application chapter of the study, panel data analysis was made for the period of 2002-2008 period and 28 countries. The major empirical evidence of the study is, that there is a positive and statistically significant relationship between fiscal transparency and GDP per capita.
