Abstract
In this study, the morphological, anatomical, palynological and karyological characteristics of the local endemic Dianthus goekayi (Caryophyllaceae) taxa, which have spread around Harmancık and Soğukpınar (Bursa), have been investigated. In addition, to the morphological and micromorphological characters of the taxon, the anatomical characteristics of the stem, stem and bottom leaf were determined. According to the palynological studies; polen grains found eumonad, pollen-type periporate, shape of polen grains prolate- sphaeroidal, exine ornamentation spinulate-granulate-microperforate; spinulate and rarely spinulate-granulate on the operculum. As aresult of a karyological study conducted on D. goekayi, the number of chromosomes was found to be 2n = 30.
