L’analyse du personnage à travers « Les Hirondelles de Kaboul »de Yasmina Khadra d’un point de vue sémiologique selon la théorie de Philippe Hamon

Résumé: La problématique du personnage a marqué, depuis longtemps, les théories littéraires. De par son statut dans le roman et son caractère amphibologique, il continue encore à occuper la pensée littéraire. Le personnage constitue l’élément le plus important dans la formation de récit. Etant à la base de toute création romanesque comme moteur de l’histoire, il contribue à l’évolution des événements dans le roman. L’objet de la présente recherche est l’étude de la dimension psycho-sociale et onomastique du personnage, comme catégorie textuelle dans « Les Hirondelles de Kaboul » de l’écrivain algérien Yasmina Khadra. Nous nous appuyons au cours de notre analyse sur l’approche sémiologique de personnage développée par Philippe Hamon et nous tenterons, à travers une étude analytique se basant sur des données bibliographiques, de comprendre si l’analyse sémiologique ou le modèle proposé par Philippe Hamon pour l’étude du personnage est applicable aux catégories des personnages de notre roman. En plus de déterminer le portrait physique et psychologique des protagonistes, l’objectif affiché dans le cadre de cette étude consiste à savoir comment les personnages du roman reproduisent-ils la réalité du terrain. Quel rôle joue chaque personnage au sein du roman ? Quelle est sa contribution dans la formation de la signification ? Et si les personnages de Khadra, de par leur aspect physique et psychologique et onomastique, reflètent-ils la réalité afghane ? Un petit survol à travers cette oeuvre nous permet de comprendre que les personnages du roman contribuent à la formation de la signification que le texte construit progressivement.

Abstract: The problem of the character of a novel has marked literary theories for a long time. Because of its status in the novel and its amphibological character, it still continues to occupy literary thought. The character is the most important element in the formation of a narrative. Being at the base of any novelistic creation as a motor of history, it contributes to the evolution of events in the novel. The purpose of this research is to investigate the psycho-social and onomastic dimension of the character, as a textual category in ‘Les Hirondelles de Kaboul’ by the Algerian writer Yasmina Khadra. We rely on the semiotic approach of character developed by Philippe Hamon and we try, through an analytical approach based on bibliographical data, to understand whether the semiological analysis or the model proposed by Philippe Hamon for the study of the character is applicable to the categories of the characters of this novel. In addition to determining the physical and psychological portrait of the protagonists, the objective fixed within the framework of this study consists of knowing how the characters reproduce reality. What role does each character play in the novel? What is his contribution to the formation of meaning? an‎d do the characters of Khadra, by their physical and psychological and onomastic aspects, reflect the Afghan reality? A brief overview of this work allows us to understand that the characters of the novel contribute to the formation of the meaning that the text gradually constructs.
