Determination of the Effects of Different Row Spacings on Yield and Yield Components of Some Linseed Varieties

Abstract
The research was carried out to determine the effects of different row spacing (15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm, 25 cm, 30 cm, 35 cm, 40 cm, 45 cm) on yield and yield components of some linseed cultivars (Antares, Atalanta, Sarı-85) under ecological conditions of Konya province in 2016, 2017 years. The experimental was designed as “Split Plots in Randomized Complete Blocks” with three replications. The plant height (cm), the number of branches per plant, the number of capsules per plant, the thousand seed weight (g), seed yield (kg ha^-1), oil content (%) and oil yield (kg ha^-1) properties were examined. In 2016, the highest oil ratio was obtained from Sarı-85 and 20 cm (44.1 %), while the highest seed and oil yield was obtained from Antares and 20 cm (1481 kg ha^-1, 554 kg ha^-1). In 2017, the highest oil ratio was obtained from Sarı-85 and 45 cm (34.1 %), while the highest seed yield was obtained from Antares and 20 cm (1387 kg ha^-1) and the highest oil yield was obtained from Antares, Atalanta and 20 cm (425 and 405 kg ha^-1). According to average of two years, it was concluded that Antares and 20 cm in terms of seed and oil yield will be appropriate for similar region conditions.
