Abstract
In this study, correlations of quality of work life and proactive working behavior with individual and corporate variables were examined. In this context,correlations of quality of work life which according to the organizational literature is thought to affect working relations, proactive working behavior, corporate reputation, exploitative administration, positive-negative emotions and similarity and complementary fit variables, were investigated. The study was carried out with 705 healthcare professionals who work in different departments in private hospitals that were selected from two regions (Ankara from the Central Anatolia Region and Istanbul from the Marmara Region) via the random sampling method. As a result of the study, it was determined that healthcare professionals’ quality of work life was positively correlated with proactive working behavior and similarity adaptation; whereas their quality of work life was negatively correlated with exploitative administration. It was found that proactive working behavior was positively correlated with positive emotions and similarity and there was also a negative correlation between exploitative administration andcorporate reputation. In addition, it was determined that corporate reputation was positively correlated with adaptation and negatively correlated with exploitative administration.
