  • Abstract
    The aim of this research is to examine the effectiveness of the studies using the constant time delay teaching method. In this perspective, qualitative and quantitative summarization of the studies which published between 2005-2015 in the scientific peer-reviewed journals, based on single subject design and focusing on the teaching of one-step skill or chained skills to the individuals with disabilities. Twenty-six studies using constant time delay teaching method were evaluated using meta-analysis method based on descriptive summarization and effect size calculation. A total of 89 participants were determined during the studies examined. Participants diagnoses, in general, are intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder. The participants ages ranged from 3 to 24 years. The findings obtained from the effect size calculations, teaching methods of constant time delay has provided evidence on the effectiveness positively.
