Abstract
The main purpose of this research is to examine primary school teachers’ creativity level. Study group in this research consist of 189 primary school teachers who are give education at the first grade primary schools in Kâhta district of Adıyaman city in 2015-2016 school year. The research is a survey model and descriptive study. In the research, to evaluate students’ levels of creativity a scale named “How Creative Are You?” is used. The reliability of the creativity scale, applied to primary school teachers, is found as .86. In the research, t-test, Mann Whitney-U, ANOVA tests are used in the analysis of the data. According to research results, there is no meaningful difference between primary school teachers’ creativity levels according to their gender, marital status and mothers and fathers’ educational background whereas there is a meaningful difference between primary school teachers’ creativity levels based on seniority, places where they grown up, reading book habit.
