Abstract
The purpose of this research is to test the theoretical models formed to explain structural relations between the perceptions of secondary school teachers about authentic leadership behaviors of school principals, teachers’ psychological capital, work related flow and school achievement. For this purpose, two models that were formed according to the literature about authentic leadership, psychological capital, work related flow and school achievement were tested. The study group consists of 274 secondary school teachers employed in 20 different secondary schools, selected by stratified sampling method. Data of the research were collected through Authentic Leadership Scale, Psychological Capital Scale and Work Related Flow Scale, whereas the average of 2016-2017 academic years TEOG (Transition from Basic Education to Secondary Education) exam’s scores was used to define school achievement variable. As a result of the study, it was concluded that teachers’ authentic leadership perception in regard to school principals affect their work related flow perception and school achievement positively via their psychological capital perception.
