Abstract
The aim of this research is to examine the life-long learning competencies of teachers working in Bartın province based on various variables. This research was carried out with 98 teachers working in various branches in 3 primary schools, 3 secondary schools and 3 high schools in Bartın province center during 2017-2018 academic year. Two data collection tool were used in the research. During the analysis of the data, it was observed that the data were not normally distributed, therefore non-parametric tests were used. There was no significant difference in the lifelong learning trends according to the in-service training in the IT field, and there was a significant difference in the lifelong learning trends according to the teachers age and graduation status.
