Abstract
In this study, it is aimed to determine the opinions of Information Technology teachers, who are thought to be an important stakeholder of STEM education in schools, on STEM in four different dimensions. This study is important for determining the position of ICT teachers in STEM education and drawing a strategic roadmap in the forthcoming days. The study was conducted with the participation of eighty-six ICT teachers from eighty-one provinces gathered for a national meeting. The research has been designed by using the phenomenological method. Data were collected through focus group interviews through semi-structured interview forms prepared by experts. During the focus group discussion, interviews were recorded by the voice recording and the emotions were recorded by a reporter. The data were analyzed under four main themes: strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The data obtained from the research may provide information to researchers in preparing and integrating curricula for STEM education in the future.
