Abstract
Music is an aesthetic whole composed of sounds combined with a certain purpose and method and processed according to a certain understanding of beauty. Johann Sebastian Bach, who lived in the Baroque period, was one of the most famous organists. Bach s Two- and Three-Voice Inventions are mostly educational in purpose. The phenomenon of invention” is hidden in the structural features of each composer s work. This study aims to create a geometric modeling of J.S. Bach’s musical exercise, the two part invention in A minör, by mathematical coding. The sound pitches and time values of the selected composition were mathematically coded, and a regression analysis was performed to find the appropriate model. Data analysis revealed the geometry modeling of the regression equation. This equation consists of a combination of algebraic, trigonometric, inverse trigonometric and exponential functions.
