Abstract :
While the World Wide Web (WWW, or simply, the Web) has revolutionized the use of the Internet and has ushered in the software end of the National Information Infrastructure (NII), its explosive growth has made it difficult to search for information. One solution to this organizational problem has been the creation of WWW virtual libraries (Vlibs), one per subject area. This article describes the WWW Virtual Library for Power Engineering, which serves as a central repository of links or pointers (home page) for power engineering informational resources on the Internet
