Abstract
An alternative formulation of the spectral domain approach (SDA) method is presented for multilayered microstrip line Green´s function derivation. The method relies on reflection factors rather than the transverse impedance used in the immittance approach. The inner products involved in the Galerkin procedure are pole-free. The analysis is validated by comparing the results with a specific example in the literature.
