Abstract
The asymptotic solution for the diffraction of an
-polarized plane incident electromagnetic wave by a conducting wedge, whose illuminated surface is loaded with a dielectric slab of small thickness and relative permittivity, is employed to derive a ray optical diffraction coefficient for the edge.
