Abstract
Phase and amplitude data were measured on 20 half-loop antennas mounted around the freeboard of a
scale model of a "Gearing" class destroyer at 56 scaled HF and at two elevations. Variations in the amplitude and relative phase of received energy are presented in the form of three-dimensional surface plots for selected samples of these data. Azimuth, antenna position, and frequency are used as independent variables.
