Abstract :
The authors describe experience acquired in designing test circuits for high-voltage circuits breakers. Circuit synthesis is achieved numerically, using an iterative method which involves the Laplace transform. Different test circuits are considered that are needed to obtain responses specified by ANSI and IEC standards. The specific interactive software has been created to permit automatic synthesis and optimum construction of these circuits is briefly described.<>
