  • Abstract
    Ba-Zn-Al-La system W-type hexagonal ferrite magnets were prepared by conventional sintering in air. The optimum condition for making the magnets and some properties of typical specimens are presented. The addition of La2O3 for Ba-Zn-Al system W-type ferrite magnets was shown to be effective in improving the magnetic properties. These results indicate a potential industrial use of the W-type ferrite materials
