Abstract :
This letter describes mass spectra and energy distributions of ions emitted from molten aluminium. The aluminium sample was heated with a tungsten filament to 1270 K. The ion species are K¿, Na¿ and Al¿. Their energies correspond to the accelerating potential applied between the sample and the energy analyser.
