  • Abstract
    An exact analysis method for the evaluation of the bit error rate of coded communication systems which employ the Fano and stack decoders is presented. The proposed method is an extremely efficient importance sampling scheme which substantially reduces the required number of conventional Monte Carlo simulation runs.
