Abstract
The present article describes a proposed methodology for the evaluation of hydro energetic renewable resources of the Colombian Pacific not interconnected region and indicates the possible variables to supply all its electrical energy. This region was chosen, as a typical region for its characteristics and socioeconomic indicators (density of population, level of illiteracy, basic unsatisfied needs), its possible interconnection to the grid, its natural reserves and its communities, formed by afrocolombians and indigenous inhabitants, with presence from colonies.
