Abstract :
A double cylindrical reflector satellite antenna of moderate directivity, and yielding an elliptical beamshape, developed for the European Communications Satellite System (ECS), is described, emphasising its high overall efficiency and applicability to other tasks which can exploit its inherent wide bandwidth.
